Crafted in Italy, the first knitted piece No. 017 by NUMÉRO 202020 is a reinterpretation of the classic crewneck sweater. Inspired by reinventing proportions, the oversized fit and slightly cropped body, the elongated sleeves and the dropped shoulders give the style a novel, yet timeless spirit. The lofty suri alpaca blend yarn, knitted in a delicate plush knit structure, underlines the sweater’s ultimate luxurious hand-feel and its incomparable softness. ABOUT THE YARN
The sweater is made from a premium blend of 71% suri alpaca, 18% virgin wool, and 11% polyamide. Suri alpaca is a rare and highly valued type of alpaca, accounting for only about 2% of the global alpaca population. Its long, silky, and lustrous fibers set it apart from the more common huacaya alpaca, giving the yarn a soft, fluid drape and a refined sheen. Virgin wool adds warmth, elasticity, and structure, while polyamide provides strength and durability, ensuring the sweater retains its shape over time. This thoughtful blend achieves a balance of softness, warmth, and resilience, making it as functional as it is luxurious.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Hand Wash Cold: For the best care, hand wash your sweater in cold water using a gentle wool detergent.
Machine Wash (Wool Program): If you choose to wash the sweater in the washing machine, be sure to use the wool program. Keep the water temperature below 30°C and select a spin speed of no more than 500-600 revolutions per minute (RPM). This helps prevent shrinking or felting, which can occur when fibers are exposed to excessive heat or agitation. Following these settings will protect the natural fibers and maintain the sweater’s original shape and softness.
Use a Gentle Detergent: Opt for a detergent specifically designed for wool or delicate fabrics to preserve the softness and integrity of the natural fibers.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
Do Not Wring or Twist: After washing, gently press out excess water without wringing or twisting the sweater.
Lay Flat to Dry: Place the sweater on a large, clean towel. Roll it up to remove excess moisture, then lay it flat on a dry towel to air dry. Shape it back into its original form to maintain its structure.
Avoid Hanging: Never hang the sweater to dry, as this can cause it to stretch or lose its shape.
